The Claddagh Heart is a design used in a traditional Irish ring
The symbol represents love, loyalty, and friendship (the hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty).
The design and customs associated with the Claddagh Heart originated in the Irish fishing village of Claddagh, located just outside Galway.
The ring was believed to have been first produced in the 17th century.
